Looking for free fun in Seattle this summer? There are nearly 40 free concerts taking place in downtown Seattle all summer long. Downtown Summer Sounds is a four-decade-long tradition from the Downtown Seattle Association, bringing outdoor concerts to downtown workers, residents, and of course, visitors.

Downtown Summer Sounds has an array of artists. From glitch-hop and neo-folk to indie pop, country, and rock, the performances span multiple genres meaning there’s something for everyone. The free performances take place at venues like Westlake Park, Occidental Square, Bell Street Park, and more.

The concerts begin on Friday, July 7th debuting with a one-night-only show featuring R&B singer-songwriter UMI. Some other artists you may recognize include The Helio Sequence, Chong The Nomad, Dude York, and more. All in all, there are 37 concerts taking place.

Best of all, these concerts are all free, and while you can RSVP for shows online, all you have to do is show up at the right time and date!
