A street-wide celebration is making its way to Dundas St West this weekend. Dubbed “Toronto’s official start to summer,” Do West Fest (formerly Dundas West Fest), promises to deliver three days of non-stop fun to the west end.

This popular festival is back this weekend and is full of free musical performances, art installations, local businesses, artisan vendors, and so much more.

New for this 2023 edition, the festival will now occupy 16 blocks of Dundas St West, stretching from Shaw to Lansdowne in the heart of Little Portugal, compared to its previous 14 blocks.

This year, the event coincides with ACAPO’s annual Portugal Day parade on June 10.

“We are thrilled to bring Do West Fest back with even more attractions than last year,” said Tracy Jenkins, Little Portugal Toronto BIA. “In addition to this year’s Festival, the Portugal Day parade on Saturday will give Torontonians yet another reason to visit our dynamic neighborhood. ”

There are lots to see, do and experience at Do West Fest this year, thanks to vendors Liko’s Hawaiian Barbecue, PowWow Cafe, art from MOCA Toronto and Flanzella.

Don’t forget the vendors such as Hippie Market Life, selling vintage clothing and handmade goods and Uncle Terry’s World Famous Bargain Blowout.

All are invited to this free event, including your dog! So be sure to mark June 9 to 11 in your calendar so you don’t miss this special late-spring celebration.
