According to Disney, “Disney Cruise Line is conducting auditions for Mainstage Dancer needs across Disney’s fleet of ships. Tell stories only Disney can tell in a unique and exciting way!”

Included in the casting information, Disney states some of the shows that performers will be a part of include Disney’s Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Frozen, Disney Dreams, Aladdin a Musical Spectacular, and many more.

The first open call will be for dancers on April 8th at 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM with sign-in starting at 9:30 AM and 1:30 PM.

The casting is for “Highly skilled and trained dancers for Male and Female identifying roles, all ethnicities.”

The next open call is for character performers the next day on April 9th at 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM with sign-in starting at 9:30 AM and 1:30 PM.

Disney is looking for males and females to fulfill character roles such as Ariel, Belle, Cinderella, Jasmine, Moana, Mulan, Rapunzel, Tiana, Flynn Rider, Kristoff, Prince Naveen, Spider-Man, Thor, Captain America, Black Panther, Prince Charming and more.

There will be one more open call on April 24th at 10:00 AM for a “Shipboard Performer”.

Disney is looking for males and females in their 20s to late 30’s, of all ethnicities’ and is seeking performers highly experienced in improv and/or sketch comedy with a musical theatre background that is comfortable with physical comedy and stage combat.

According to Disney, “Rehearsal takes place in Toronto. A typical contract includes up to six weeks of rehearsal and six months onboard. Contract includes competitive pay, travel, room and board, and a significant contract completion bonus.”
