Getting Groovy: ‘Disco In The Park’ returns to Edmonton for a full weekend of fun

We hope you’ve got your dancing shoes ready! This summer, the second ever ‘Disco in the Park’ festival is coming to Edmonton, and it’s bringing a huge weekend of tunes with it! Here’s what you can expect when it arrives.

On July 30th and 31st, the festival will take over Louise McKinney Riverfront Park, which is just a stone’s throw away from the downtown core. The festival will be available as both a family-friendly and adults-only option, split between 12PM-6PM for all-ages shows and 6PM-10PM for the 18+ stuff.

As for the lineup, it’s already looking pretty amazing. They’re pulling talent from all over the world, with DJs coming from New York, Italy, the UK and Mexico. And of course, a fair number of Canadian names will be joining in on the fun as well. Pretty wild that Jellybean Benitez is in the mix, since he’s DJ’d at a number of legendary clubs, including Studio 54.

Mix in a beer garden, a little food, and even free water stations, and this has easily become a bucket list activity for us this summer. Tickets are already on sale, so hit up your pals and tell them to join in on the fun!

Disco In The Park

When: July 30th and 31st
Where: Louise McKinney Riverfront Park
Cost: $55+ (discounted passes on sale until June 1st)
