Eating is generally a feast for the sense, literally. But with the world we live in, there are plenty of distractions to keep you from fully enjoying your meal. This dining experience in Seattle is looking to change that, welcome Dining in the Dark!
Dining in the Dark Seattle is a foodie experience that invites you to “enter a realm of sensory delight where an intimate setting invites you to break away from routine and relearn how to use your taste buds.”
Offered in February, this is an experience you can book for Valentine’s Day, or even with friends and family.
According to the organizers, “eating while blindfolded will heighten your senses of taste and smell.”

As for the menu, it is a secret 3-course menu, that includes appetizer, main, and dessert. There is an option of meat, fish, and vegan.
“With a blindfold as a gateway, taste and aroma intensify, transforming each bite into an extraordinary adventure,” states the event.
It’s also worth noting that this event is a pop-up and happening for a limited time. At the moment there are only three dates with two seatings available. So as always if you’d like to attend be sure to book your tickets as soon as possible.
