This beloved street food festival is returning to Vancouver this winter & here’s when

If you love food truck eats, you’ve likely already heard about Street Food City, Vancouver’s original street food festival. Presented by Destination Vancouver, Street Food Vancouver Society, and the Downtown Vancouver BIA, the festival kicks off the delicious Dine Out Vancouver program. And this year, they’re celebrating the festival’s 11th year with an amazing lineup of food trucks, serving everything from Indian food to grilled cheese.

While further details are a bit scarce at the moment, it’s clear that this year’s program will have a ton of tasty options. Just be sure to bundle up for this mid-winter outdoor picnic. While there will be tented tables to shield visitors from the rain, the same cannot be said for the cold. But with a hot slice of pizza or sandwich in hand, you might not even notice the temp.

Street Food City 2023 will take place at the šxʷƛ̓ənəq Xwtl’e7énk Square (Vancouver Art Gallery) from January 21st to January 29th. Come by between 11 am and 2 pm on weekdays, or until 5 pm on weekends to sample your fave local eats and even try some new ones!

The rest of this year’s Dine Out program will follow between January 20th and February 5th, 2023.
