A free South Asian festival is coming to Toronto this summer

Canada’s top South Asian Music Festival, DESIFEST is back in Toronto this summer! Right in downtown Toronto, this free summer festival will take over Sankofa Square this June.

Mark your calendars for June 14, 2025 as DESIFEST returns for its 19th annual showcase. Over 25 local and international bands will perform for 12 hours of non-stop music at the square. Whether your jam is Bhangra, Bollywood or anything in between, you’re in for a treat.

While you’re dancing and singing along, fuel up with delicious eats from over 20 South Asian food vendors. This is your chance to enjoy authentic cuisine and even try something new!

Last year’s event was a feast for the senses, with vendors like Taza, Kesar Kulfi, Munch O Holic, and Royal Paan serving up an array of mouthwatering delights.

Presented by TD, DESIFEST will transform Sankofa Square into a hub of music, culture, and community spirit.
