Love chicken sandwiches? So does the rest of the nation, so much so that it’s caused the country to go through a few different chicken shortages during the pandemic. But that hasn’t slowed anyone down, especially not celebrity chef David Chang, who has rolled out his own version of the chicken sandwich here in Seattle.
If the name sounds familiar it’s because David Chang is the founder of New York’s Momofuku group and star of Netlflix’s Ugly Delicious cooking show. And throughout the pandemic, he’s launched Fuku, a delivery-only, ghost kitchen-based chicken sandwich concept. It faced some heat from diners in Houston due to slow delivery and over-ordering so we’ll be curious to see how the rollout goes in Seattle.

Now have no fear because Fuku has definitely learned a thing or two through its ghost kitchen trial and error in other cities. In order to ensure that Seattleites are getting the best quality sandwiches, they are rolling out in limited areas. To start, delivery will only be available in the downtown and South Lake Union radius. Delivery will then expand across the city and suburbs in the coming weeks. You’ll be able to order through apps like Uber Eats, DoorDash, Grubhub, and Postmates.
Now, what can you get? You can order the wildly popular fried chicken sando in a few different options like spicy, sweet & spicy, and even meal combos. Or you can opt for items like tenders, fingers, and fries. But honestly, you might as well go big and order a few different options since delivery can be a little bit pricey.
You can learn more by clicking here and if you get your hands on a sando be sure to let us know what you think. Enjoy folks!
