There’s a new daily bus service in Toronto and you can travel to the U.S. starting at $38. Cheers to more ways to travel!

Charter bus service Trailways, has announced a new international route that will see daily service resume between Toronto and Detroit, Michigan, as of April 5th.

According to the U.S.-based service, the route had been abandoned by other transportation providers during the pandemic, however, they’re the first to bring the service back since 2021.

“We are incredibly excited to bring Trailways’ affordable, comfortable, and eco-friendly service to Ontario and Michigan,” said Alex Berardi, President of Trailways.com.

“This service marks our second route from Toronto and our first entry into Detroit, the “Motor City”, something we are particularly excited about.”

Travelers can expect these low-emission motor coaches to feature complimentary wi-fi, onboard restrooms, and seating for persons with disabilities. There will be four daily trips leaving Detroit, Michigan to reach London, Ontario, Chatham, Ontario, Windsor, Ontario, and Toronto, Ontario.

These connections will help customers depart Ontario to reach other U.S. cities like Chicago. Tickets are available for purchase online at Trailways.com and Trailways.ca and travelers leaving Toronto could see some tickets as low as $38.
