And it just so happens that the largest ski resort in Vancouver is hosting its own hiring fair with over 100 open roles this weekend, so you’ve got a solid place to start your search.

And while their website beckons those interested with the tagline “work where you love to play,” rest assured you don’t have to know how to ski or snowboard to enjoy working at Cypress.

Cypress Mountain Resort currently has a range of open positions across 26 departments – both seasonal and year-round. In addition to competitive compensation, all employees receive perks like a free unlimited Season Pass, free mountain shuttle access, and discounts galore.

For outdoor lovers, there are open roles in their Lift Operations, Base Operations, Nordic Ski School, and Tube Park departments.

And if you prefer working indoors, there are plenty of opportunities in their Guest Services, Rentals, and Food & Beverage departments that you can apply for.

Those interested can secure their interview times by navigating to the department of their choice and selecting an available time slot between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Saturday, October 28th.

Drop-in Interviews

Drop-in interviews are also available at WorkBC’s North Vancouver office (#106 – 980 West 1st Street, North Vancouver) and City Centre Office (2nd floor – 1256 Granville Street) on the following dates:

  • Work BC City Centre: Tuesday, October 24th & November 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th from 2 to 4 pm
  • Work BC North Vancouver: Friday, November 3rd, 10th, 17th, and 24th from 2 to 4 pm

The job fair will take place on Saturday, October 28th from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the third floor of the Lonsdale Quay Hotel.
