Toronto just got a brand new spot for Indian fusion brunch & here’s where

Toronto lives and breathes brunch at this point and we’re not complaining. When more brunch experiences open in Toronto we can’t help but book that reso ASAP.

If you’re looking for a new food spot with fusion flavours, then you’ll love this new Indian restaurant that has opened on Queen Street West.

Curryish Tavern is Toronto’s first chef-driven Indian restaurant that features a mouthwatering fusion brunch menu. The restaurant’s food offerings constantly change with the season and availability of local produce so you’ll be sure to have a delectable experience every time.

The kitchen is led by Chef Miheer Shete who holds over 20 years of culinary experience across India, UK, USA, and Canada. Curryish Tavern first began as pandemic project for Chef Shete. He began selling meal kits out of his home kitchen and quickly grew popular eventually leading up to Curryish Tavern.

This French cafe and patisserie is opening a new spot in Yaletown & here’s when

“Over the last decade I started to notice cities like London, New York and San Francisco initiating an Indian food revolution where chefs who used to work in European kitchens would leave and start dedicating their time towards uplifting and
educating people on various regions of Indian food,” said Owner Chef Miheer Shete. “I searched high and low to find a comparable Indian food experience in Toronto, and when I couldn’t find it, I knew I had to create it.”

Although this spot has a stunningly wonderful dinner menu, its showstopper is the fusion brunch specials.

Samosa Eggs Benny, Full Maharaja Breakfast, Mithi Roti French Toast and so much more. Its brunch menu features 10 downright mouthwatering dishes.

What’s a brunch without some mimosas? Curryish Tavern has its own special take on the classic alcoholic beverage – coconut mimosa. The brunch cocktail menu features exciting drinks with Indian flavours like Tamarind Ceasar, ginger mojito, Nimbu Panni margarita, and a lot more.

Curryish Tavern is open Tuesday to Sunday with select hours for its bar and dinner menu. Its brunch is available only on the weekends, Saturday and Sunday from 11 am to 3 pm.

Now, no time to waste. Clear that weekend schedule and check out this new food paradise for all your brunch needs.
