Need a fun day trip idea for late spring or early summer? Why not make a day of it at the largest waterpark in BC? Raincouver might not need any help in the water department at the moment, but that doesn’t mean that we can’t gear up for those hot summer days.

Cultus Lake Waterpark is filled with waterslides, themed tunnels and pools, lazy rivers, and even hot tubs for the whole family to enjoy. Whether you want to lounge at one of the 150+ picnic areas and let the kids splash around “Pirates’ Cove” or “Tots Castle,” or do some splashing yourself on the waterpark’s “Tubular Terror,” there’s a little something for everyone to enjoy here.

Also returning this year are tasty food vendors and VIP cabana rentals, which visitors can reserve in advance.

Just an hour and a half drive from Vancouver, Cultus Lake Waterpark will officially open for the summer season on Saturday, June 10th, and continue every weekend until Saturday, June 24th – upon which time the park will be open daily.

Best of all? To celebrate its reopening, the waterpark is knocking off $8 on all admission tickets, including full and half-day passes, and twilight tickets. This pre-season sale will last until June 30th, so snag your tickets for your preferred dates while you can!

Note that children under shorter than 36″ receive free entry with the purchase of an adult ticket. As well, the waterpark will be open from 10 am to 5 pm every day that it’s open, come rain or shine.

So there you have it, Vancouver. If you’re looking forward to the return of the warmer weather, you won’t have long to wait. And now you have an exciting way to get outside and enjoy it.
