Alberta has a horror-themed campsite with a ‘haunted mansion’ & movie nights

Camping is not for everyone. Not only are you exposed to the elements but there’s wildlife, no cell service and you might have to use a porta-potty. It can be terrifying, but if nothing about the activity spooks you, consider booking at Creepy Hollow in Alberta – a site made to give you the chills.

Located in Warner, this haunting campsite is where fans of the horror genre can let their fright flag fly.

With a variety of attractions and events, this one-of-a-kind spot is the perfect fall destination on warmer days and October nights.

Set up a tent, toss on a cozy sweater, and visit their haunted mansion or corn maze. Then, once you’ve walked through all that there is to see, enjoy the activities held at Monster Hall, which includes movie nights on Fridays and murder mystery parties.

Want to check it out? Campsites cost around $25 a night, only accommodate retro-style stays and don’t allow personal firepits – though they do have a communal one where you can socialize, make food and warm up.

There’s nothing quite like it.

Beware campers! You’re in for quite the night and a lifetime of memories.
