Located mid-way between Calgary and Edmonton, The Jungle Farm is yet, another perfect example of what fall is all about. Packed with pumpkins, The Jungle Farms’ patch is big, orange and photogenic (as long as you check it out before the first frost). While you’re there, take a wagon ride, make your way through their corn maze, slide down their 60-foot slides or visit their obstacle course!

Cobb’s Adventure Park

Talk about fall-time staples! With fun activities for all ages, Cobb’s Corn Maze is one of our favourite wholesome destinations in Alberta. Here, not only can you can pick a pumpkin, but you can also get in a round of mini-golf, put your aim to the test during archery tag, and get tangled up in the ropes course before visiting with adorable baby kangaroos and getting lost in their corn maze.

Just outside of Edmonton’s city limits, you’ll find the Edmonton corn maze. Though they’re best known for their namesake activity, they also have an adorable pumpkin patch totally worth checking out this fall – in addition to a market and a sunflower field (which you can only visit in the summertime.)

Butterfield Acres

Welcome to Butterfield Acres, one of the cutest pumpkin patches in the entire province. Here, you’re encouraged to really embrace farm life through fun activities like their petting zoo, taking a milking lesson, taking a wagon ride and of course, picking your very own pumpkin from their field.

Prairie Gardens

Picture perfect pumpkin, family-friendly activities and a corn maze. Find all of this and more at Lacombe’s Kraay Family Farm. This one is about halfway from Edmonton to Calgary, has a day’s worth of activities and will have you heading home with a beautiful orange gourd ready for Halloween.

Calgary Farmyard
