We’ve all done it. We wait until the very last minute to pick a pumpkin and then it’s too late. It’s October 30th and all that your local grocery store has, are battered, bruised and misshapen hack-o-lanterns. This year, make picking your perfect jack an event not an errand by checking out one of these adorable pumpkin patches in and around Alberta!

Granary Road is an autumn must-see. Not only will you more than likely find the perfect orange friend, you’ll make a ton of incredibly sweet memories. From their glorious goats and their heavenly patch to their year-round farmers’ market, you will not want to miss out on hitting this place up before the snow falls.

Alright, now these guys aren’t in the game for 2021, but we felt as though it was worth including them if only to keep in your back pocket! For those of you who want to see how it’s really done, check out Alberta’s Bluegrass Nursery. Not only are they well versed in the art of pumpkin growing, but they know how to have fun – throwing an annual fall festival where a portion of the proceeds go to charity. Check them out next year!
