It seems like streaming services are always changing things up, but this change could be a good one! Following Crave’s recent price increase, the streaming service will now be available as an add-on through Prime Video meaning users will now be able to subscribe to Crave directly through Prime. Bell Media announced Tuesday that it has reached an agreement with Amazon to make its streaming service, Crave, available on Prime Video Channels in Canada. Although an exact date is not mentioned, Bell said the initiative is “launching soon.”
Crave’s Premium, ad-free plan will be offered directly to Amazon customers through their Prime Video account.
“We’re thrilled to be joining with Amazon to expand the reach of Crave,” said Sean Cohan, President of Bell Media.
“Making Crave available to as many Canadians as possible, on the service and device of their choosing, is a top priority for Bell Media.”
Along with the announcement, Crave also shared some of their upcoming new programming including:
Crave updated the price for its Premium ad-free package, now $22 per month. Prices for Crave’s other plans are the Standard with ads subscription at $14.99 and its basic with ads plan at $9.99.
Currently, a Prime Video plan will cost Canadians $9.99 per month with commercials. A Prime subscription also gives users Amazon’s shipping benefits.
