Breathtaking CP Holiday Train will visit cities across Canada this year

Mark your calendars! The beloved CP Holiday Train will be putting smiles on Canadians’ faces this year as it hits the road for its cross-continent tour.

The CP Holiday Train is hitting cities from coast to coast for its 24th year, supporting food banks and food shelves by raising money, food, and awareness for food insecurity issues.

This is the train’s first in-person tour since 2019, so it’s been a long time coming. The train will put on magical shows in every city it stops in.

The dazzling lights of the train will be complemented by live performances by popular artists like Alan Doyle, Tenille Townes, Mackenzie Porter, and Lindsay Ell.

The shows are free to attend but visitors are asked to make a cash or non-perishable food donation if they’re able to.

Local food shelves will set up collection stations at each event, with all donations made staying with the local food bank to help people in need in the community.

The train will begin its cross-Canada tour in Quebec in late November. It’ll then make its way to various towns and cities in Ontario, including Toronto on Tuesday, November 29th.

Then, the CP Holiday Train will head west. The train will be in Edmonton on Friday, December 9th and in Calgary on Sunday, December 11th.

Its final stop will be in Port Coquitlam on Sunday, December 18th.

You can find the full schedule on CP Holiday Train’s website to find the show nearest you.

We can’t wait to welcome this holiday tradition back to our cities!
