There’s nothing better than a Sunday Costco sample and soon, Calgary residents nearing the edge of the city might have one more supercentre to visit, wander and enjoy when they’re in need of a fix!
If you live in or around Springbank you’re in for a treat because as part of the new Bingham Crossing shopping and lifestyle centre, the construction on a massive new location will begin being built in the Spring of 2024.

“We are excited to share that after a very detailed and collaborative approval process with Rocky View County, Costco Wholesale is planning on opening a new location on the Bingham Crossing lands,” they announced.
“The team at Bingham Crossing, Costco and Rocky View County have worked very closely in the past year to complete approvals for the Costco store. The Development Permit has now been approved, with Costco scheduled to open their doors to their first Members Fall in 2025.”
Located right across from Calaway Park, the store will be the 7th Costco location in Calgary and would practically change the game for anyone west of the city.
