This massive park near Toronto has a beach, waterpark & go karts

All the summer fun, all in one place — that’s exactly what you’ll find at Confederation Beach Park, a massive destination on Lake Ontario.

This park is home to a huge variety of attractions, including a water park, go-karts, hiking trails, a swimmable beach, restaurants, mini golf, and batting cages.

On hot summer days, visitors can cool off with a dip at the sandy beach or the Lakeland Centre pool and splash pad.

The Hamilton Beach Trail is a great spot for a scenic walk or cycle.

The 4.3 km route along the waterfront connects to the Waterfront Trail, which extends an additional 4.2 km west to the Burlington ship canal.

As for things to do, visitors will love the family-oriented amusement park Adventure Village, which has fun activities like bungee trampoline, rock climbing, and mini golf.

Also in the area of the park is Wild Waterworks, a massive waterpark that is home to six heart-pumping slides and one of Canada’s largest outdoor wave pools!

Speaking of thrilling activities, Confederation Park is also where you’ll find Lakeland Kartways, which is Canada’s longest-running go-kart track.

This lakefront track has a special every Tuesday, offering five laps for only $10.

When you’ve worked up an appetite, you’ll have several restaurants to choose from at Confederation Beach Park.

That includes the spot Barangas on the Beach, which has a sprawling lakefront patio that is said to be one of Ontario’s biggest.

There’s also the laid-back beachfront eatery Hutch’s on the Beach, which is a simple diner with comfort foods like chili cheese fries, hot dogs, and burgers.

All in all, you’re bound to have a fun-filled day at this spot. With so many great choices, the hardest part will be making the itinerary!
