This Ontario waterpark is the largest in Canada & it has a massive wave pool

Located near Canada’s capital, Calypso Theme Waterpark is about a four-hour drive away from Toronto and boasts a massive park full of water slides, lazy rivers, and more.

But the showstopper of it all is its huge wave pool – the largest in all of Canada. According to Ottawa Tourism, it is about the size of three NHL rinks. It’s that massive.

For kids and kids at heart, you can enjoy a full day relaxing down one of the themed rivers or facing your fears on some of the longest and fastest water slides around.

Feeling a little snacky? Calypso has several patio seating areas if you’ve packed a little picnic. Alternatively, you can enjoy a meal or some sweet treats at one of the nine restaurants and snack bars in the park.

There are also two VIP sections for you to relax at, including cabana rentals if you’re at the park with some friends.

If you need to store your things away, you can rent a locker for the day for about $15 or $25 for the larger one.

Rain or shine, the park is open for your enjoyment. And don’t worry, the pools are heated.
