Looking ahead to March, there are quite a few exciting artists slated to take the stage in Vancouver. And luckily, there’s a little bit of every genre to enjoy – so now is the perfect time to see who’s on and snag some tickets while you can. From Red Hot Chili Peppers to SZA, here are 12 live performances and concerts coming to the city this coming month.
The Flaming Lips
Kicking off a month of live music of every genre is The Flaming Lips – a psychedelic rock band formed back in 1983, known for their biggest radio hit “She Don’t Use Jelly” and album, At War With The Mystics. Currently making up the band? Artists Wayne Coyne, Steven Drozd, Derek Brown, Matt Duckworth Kirksey and Nicholas Ley.

Raffi
You might know Canadian lyricist and musician Raffi for his celebrated collection of children’s music, like “Baby Beluga,” . And if you don’t, you can indulge your inner child anyway and enjoy his concert on Saturday, March 4th at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre.

Joshua Bassett: The Complicated Tour
You might know of pop singer Joshua Bassett through his starring role in High School Musical: The Musical – or maybe you’re an Olivia Rodrigo fan and put two and two together. Either way, Bassett is quite the talent himself, definitely a great concert pick for acoustic lovers.

SIDEPIECE
SIDEPIECE is an EDM group known for hit singles like “On My Mind,” “Together,” and A Milli.” And they’re coming to the Enso Event Centre on Saturday, March 11th – so get ready to dance!

NAV: Never Sleep Tour
Navraj Singh Goraya (AKA – NAV) is a Canadian rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer. Interestingly enough, he began co-producing Drake’s single “Back to Back” in 2015, and gained widespread attention in 2016 when his single “Myself” went viral.

Wax Tailor
For those unfamiliar with the music and storytelling of Wax Tailor, let us shed some light. The electropop artist is known for 2005 hits like “Seize The Day,” “Que Sera,” and “Ungodly Fruit,” and is going on an international tour to promote his newest album, “Fishing For Accidents,” which features guest artists like Kuf Knotz and Christine Elise – both of whom will be joining him on tour.

Masego
Definitely one of our top picks for this month, Masego is known for his saxophone-heavy music, particularly his two 2016 EPS and hit single “Tadow” featuring FKJ. The Jamaican-American musician definitely has a unique sound, so be sure to check him out on Friday, March 17th.

Nicky Romero
For a highly-anticipated EDM concert that requires some solid dancing shoes, check out Nicky Romero’s set at the Harbour Events Centre on Friday, March 17th. Doors open at 10 pm.

Ryan Adams
American singer-songwriter Ryan Adams has released 24 studio albums throughout his career – three of which as a former member of Whiskeytown. He’s also known for his debut solo album, “Heartbreaker,” which rose to critical acclaim in 2000.

SZA

Following the release of her long-awaited album ‘S.O.S’, SZA will be hitting the road and stopping in 17 different cities across North America, including Rogers Arena in Vancouver on Sunday, March 19th. Definitely at the top of our own list!

ALOK
Brazilian musician and DJ ALOK is coming to Vancouver on Friday, March 24th. Best known for his single “Hear Me Now,” the artist was actually ranked the 4th best DJ in the world by DJ Mag in 2021 and 2022! So this one’s definitely someone to keep your eye on.
