Pretty Women: The Musical
Based on the 1990 rom-com known for its iconic shopping scene with Julia Roberts, Pretty Women: The Musical is coming to Queen Elizabeth Theatre on Sunday, April 2nd. And not going to see it would certainly be a big mistake. Big. Huge!

Sabrina Carpenter
23-year-old singer-songwriter and actress Sabrina Carpenter has really take off this past year, emerging with her debut solo album in 2015, titled Eyes Wide Open. Since then, she’s gone on to release several singles, a second album titled “On Purpose,” 2018 hit single “Alien” with Jonas Blue, and most recently, her newest album, Emails I Can’t Send.

An artist who likely needs no introduction, John Mayer is a Connecticut-born singer and songwriter, originating as a two-man band called Lo-Fi Masters alongside Clay Cook. Following their creative split, Mayer went out on his own and carved his own corner of the pop world, and is now pretty much a household name.

The Backseat Lovers
Formed in Povo, Utah in 2018, The Backseat Lovers are known for their hit single “Kilby Girl,” which has over a whopping 300 million streams on Spotify. The Vancouver Symphony Orchestra is hosting (and performing alongside) a special one-night-only concert with Vancouver’s own Juno Award-winning Said The Whale. The Indie-rock band will be trading in their guitars, drums, and bass for the “full symphonic forces of the VSO” on Wednesday, April 19th.

Leader and co-founder of the group Nicholas Reyes followed in his father’s footsteps to create a French-flamenco fusion band that would go on to perform on international stages for 30+ years and counting. And they’re performing at The Orpheum with Tonino Baliardo on Wednesday, April 26th.
