18 of the best concerts to check out in Seattle this September

Just because the weather will be cooling down, doesn’t mean our music scene isn’t hot this September! From big Labour Day concerts, to big shows at Climate Pledge Arena and T-Mobile Park, there is no shortage of live music in Seattle. Here are some of the best concerts to check out in Seattle this September.
Metallica
Metallica has two concerts in Seattle this summer, so get ready for 2 nights, 2 different sets, and 2 different opening acts! Night 1 is on Friday August 30th with Pantera / Mammoth WVH, while night 2 is on Sunday, September 1st with Five Finger Death Punch / Ice Nine Kills. What a way to kick off your month.

Bumbershoot Arts & Music Festival
Taking place over the Labour Day weekend, August 31st-September 1st, Bumbershoot will be back at the Seattle Center featuring the Pacific Northwest’s best artists and creators. Headliners for 2024 include Pavement, Kim Gordon, Cyprus Hill, James Blake, Kurt Vile, and Courtney Barnett.

Louis the Child
Louis the Child is hosting a series of daytime shows as part of “A Day in the Sun 2024 North American Tour.” It stops in Seattle, and will be joined by Jai Wolf (Club Babu DJ Set), Wavedash, and Daniel Allan. Note: This is an early show.
