Spontaneous sips: Here are some Vancouver spots offering cocktails to go

Whether you’re grabbing some drinks for the road or planning a holiday party, finding to-go cocktails or brews can be a tricky process, depending on where in the city you are. So for the times you’re looking for a spontaneous sip on the go, here are a handful of Vancouver spots to check out.

Please! Tasting House

If you love small-batch concoctions and unique flavours, you’ll definitely want to head over to Please! Beverage Co’s new cocktail tasting house in Mount Pleasant – the first of its kind in the city.

Known for playful flavours like the Mango Sticky Rice and Green Tea Fizz that rotate seasonally, Please! Beverage Co promises guests that they’ll never drink the same thing twice, unless they really want to. Each bottle is a unique “labour of love,” using fresh-squeezed mixers and locally-grown herbs and botanicals.

Where: 222 West 5th Avenue

The Keefer Bar

And last but not least, we come to Chinatown’s The Keefer Bar. If you’d rather enjoy a delicious daiquiri, marg, or sour at home, the iconic bar offers seven of their tastiest cocktails in a mix format, perfect for adding a bit of your favourite liquor to and enjoying from the comfort of your own sofa.

So there you have it, Vancouver! For the days you don’t feel like sitting at the bar but still want to enjoy a refreshing beverage or two, consider checking out one of these spots.
