The CNE is FINALLY here and after two long years of waiting, the beloved summer event is back, bigger than ever before.

Running until September 5, the CNE is ready to welcome the masses for two weeks of fun in the sun, deliciously wild food, engaging shows and so much more.

There’s so much to look forward to so make sure to get your tickets ready!

Tickets are on sale for the almost three-week event but if you’re a savvy buyer, you may notice you can get your hands on cheaper tickets on certain dates.

There are two big deals to look out for: Opening Day specials and evening prices. The Opening Day Deal is for $13 and $11 for the latter. Click here for all the deets.

New Attractions

For the first time ever at The CNE, FIRST Tech Challenge teams can compete in a Freight Frenzy off-season event at the Gaming Garage.

Another newbie this year is a multimedia show called NEVAEH & The NorthStar, an “exciting production featuring groundbreaking theatrical technologies of projection mapping, augmented reality, laser, pyrotechnics,” according to the description.

As for exhibits, check out the National Geographic: The Greatest Wildlife Photographs show, as well as a whimsical display of giant “gnomes” called the Nook of Gnomes.

Wild food

The CNE is known for its wacky and wild foodie creations, along with its almost endless food offerings. From a pickle drink to ketchup and mustard-flavoured ice cream, rest assured this year’s food options are out of this world.

There will also be a ton of food truck vendors like Celtic Food Trucks, Food Truck Frenzy, and Madi Gras Food Trucks. Get ready to eat some mouthwatering grub.
