It’s game day and this evening, you’ll have one more place to get rowdy and cheer on your faves! For those looking to catch all the action with like-minded fans, Rogers Sportsnet and the city of Edmonton will hold a big Oilers viewing party in Sir Winston Churchill Square.

Held in celebration of the first game in the second round, sports lovers are encouraged to grab a lawn chair, a blanket and their loved ones, then head downtown for a family-friendly evening of fun, food and hockey!

In addition to an extra large screen that will play tonight’s game against the Golden Knights, guests will also be able to hit the food trucks, play ping pong or a game of large format checkers or chess leading up to game time and between periods.

Interested? It’s worth noting that this will be an alcohol-free event and will kick off at 6:30 pm Tuesday, May 3rd, 2023.

Puck drops at 7:30 pm and you won’t want to miss a beat – so hurry hard to get a spot.

As for parking, guests will be able to do so in the City Hall Parkade, the Canada Place Parkade, and the Stanley A. Milner Library Parkade. Each of which has elevator access for accessibility.
