These beloved boat cruises in Toronto open for the season next month

All aboard! Toronto’s iconic City Cruises take to the water starting April 1 as the ships return for another season. Guests are invited to take in the city views from the open-air upper deck, learn about Toronto’s history and enjoy food and drinks along the way.

“We’re excited to offer unforgettable experiences from the water,” says Mory DiMaurizio, chief operating officer of City Cruises Canada. “Our sightseeing tour provides the perfect opportunity to relax with a unique view of Toronto’s iconic landmarks from an entirely new perspective.”

Located right by Union Station, City Cruises takes passengers all around the harbour, with daily sailings departing at 12:30 p.m., 2 p.m., 3:30 p.m. and 5 p.m.

Come June, more times will be added to accommodate the uptick in bookings due to the beautiful summer weather.

The 60-Minute Sightseeing Harbour Tour costs $32.95 per ticket for adults and $19.95 for children between the ages of four and 12, while children three and under are free.

Whether you’re looking to shake up date night or spend an evening on the water with friends, this is a great way to experience the city while feeling like you’ve also escaped to somewhere further.

Ahoy!
