Get ready to embark on a whimsical circus experience, Toronto! Cirque du Soleil and its latest extravaganza, ECHO, is coming to Toronto this May, kicking off its Canada tour in our lively city.
Debuting on May 8th, 2024, ECHO brings its massive 23-foot CUBE, stunning projections, and a fresh, modern twist from the talented Mukhtar Omar Sharif Mukhtar, who’s not only the Author-Director but also a former Cirque du Soleil performer.
But ECHO isn’t just about jaw-dropping visuals. It’s got a lot of heart, too.
The story follows the adventures of FUTURE, a curious young woman, and her sidekick, the DOG, as they stumble upon a mysterious CUBE. They quickly learn how their actions have “power to shape this world.”

ECHO has dazzled audiences all across North America, from Montreal to Miami, and now it’s Toronto’s turn to experience the show.
Toronto is just one of the first three Canadian cities planned for 2024, according to organizers.
It will be stopping in Gatineau, QC August 16th to September 22nd, and Vancouver, BC from October 9th to December 15th.
ECHO is the first original Big Top creation since 2018’s Bazzar and it features six live vocalists, a first for Cirque du Soleil.
The show will also use a whopping 10 video projectors to cover the CUBE, the stage, and the artists, setting a new standard for Cirque du Soleil shows.
