Mississauga’s new Cineplex entertainment hub to host a job fair next month

Cineplex is so close to opening a first-of-its-kind entertainment and dining complex in Mississauga and they’re currently on the hunt for eager employees to join their team. Cineplex will be hosting a job fair and here’s everything you need to know.

Residents in Mississauga will be glad to know that the Cineplex Junxion will open at Erin Mills Town Centre this summer 2023, taking over one of the anchor tenant locations on the lower level.

According to the mall website, the Cineplex Junxion is hiring cast members, line cook, and bartender roles.

And if you’re interested in applying, take note that the job fair kicks off on April 14th from 12 PM to 8 PM and April 15th from 10 AM to 6 PM.

Though an opening date has not been set, we do know what to expect once it does open to the public. And let’s just say it’s HUGE.

According to Erin Mills, Cineplex Junxion will feature:

• New state-of-the-art cinemas, UltraAVX, and recliners where guests can have food and drinks delivered to their seats;
• An open lobby for events, and performances, stage for live music, and space for outdoor screenings;
• Amusement games and attractions, new and classic video and redemption games, and VR from VRstudios;
• Food Hall, indoor food truck, and bar;
• Fun programmings like live music, trivia nights, game nights, outdoor screenings, live TV events, and more;

This will be the second Cineplex Junxion location to open in Canada following the opening in Winnipeg last year.
