Cineplex is offering free popcorn in Canada this week & here’s how to get it

Cineplex is celebrating National Popcorn Day across all theatres in Canada and all Scene+ members can get a free small popcorn when they watch one of the current flicks in theatres.

Canada’s leading movie theatre will be handing out a free small popcorn bag to all Scene+ members when they see a movie in theatres on Friday, January 19th.

This tasty deal is available Canada-wide at all its locations, for one day only.

“We know popcorn is the real star when it comes to making memories at the movies,” said Sara Moore, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, Cineplex.

“Every National Popcorn Day, it’s become our tradition to put the spotlight on our fresh and delicious buttery popcorn and show that with endless flavour combinations, popcorn creates shareable moments of delight at Cineplex no matter who you’re with or what you’re watching.”

As long as you’re a Scene+ member, you’ll be sure to get your hands on this freebie.

But don’t worry, if you can’t make it out that day, you can still get a free popcorn delivered right to your home!

How, you may ask? Well, if you place a Cineplex delivery via SkipTheDishes or UberEats, a free small popcorn is automatically added to your order. How great is that?

If plain popcorn isn’t your jam, Cineplex recommends customizing your popcorn by buying add-ons to enjoy it shaken with seasoning, or mixed with sweet treats.
