Here’s where you can watch the newest movies in Vancouver for $5

Movie lovers just got another reason to head to a big screen near them. Cineplex is offering its $5 promo deal on select days this month in Vancouver, and here’s what to know.

Tuesdays are usually “cheap nights” at Cineplex, but this deal just made it cheaper. Every Tuesday for the month of February, movie admission and a small bag of popcorn will be $5 each, plus tax, across Canada.

“Nostalgia and movies go hand in hand. From the resurgence of the 2000s era romantic comedies to re-imagining iconic films such as Mean Girls, Cineplex is joining in on the fun,” shares the movie theatre chain. “The last time movie tickets in Canada cost $5 was 25 years ago, just before the new millennium!”

Tickets purchased in person will be subject to tax however if you purchase online, there will also be a booking fee up to $1.50. As for premium experiences like 4DX and D-Box, standard upcharges will apply.

And all Scene+ members will continue to get an additional 10% off the ticket prices that day too. Now that’s a deal!

As for the popcorn, the deal only applies in theatre. It’s not valid on Uber Eats, Skip the dishes, or Cineplex mobile ordering.

You can enjoy the Cineplex $5 deal at these locations in Vancouver:

  • Cineplex Odeon International Village Cinemas
  • The Park Theatre
  • Fifth Avenues Cinemas
  • Scotiabank Theatre Vancouver
