Toronto’s massive indoor Christmas light show returns with a new theme

The popular Christmas Glow festival is coming back to Toronto this year, but instead of taking you on a trip to Santa’s village, you’ll be taken on a trip around the world.

“Like being transported straight into a Christmas storybook, holiday-lovers of all ages can delight in the joys of the season without commuting to the North Pole,” the description says.

Starting on November 30th, the indoor experience will take visitors on an illuminated journey to six different countries. No passport required!

Explore the wonders of the world beneath the dazzling glow of millions of twinkling lights.

The best part is that it’s entirely indoors, so you won’t have to pose for photos in your winter parka.

Once you’ve returned from your journey abroad in the light garden, there are many other things you can do at this massive festival.

You can shop in the Merry Maker’s Market, enjoy live entertainment from local performers, indulge in holiday cocktails and delicious international bites, decorate cookies with Mrs. Claus, and of course, visit Santa!

There are so many new and returning events to check out this holiday season in and around the city, including the illuminated Twinkle After Dark trail, the Distillery Winter Village, the Santa Claus Parade, and more.

It’s safe to say that we’re in for a big dose of Christmas cheer this year, and we could not be more excited.
