Man, do we love a good dive. Yeah, Calgary has a ton of them already, but we’re of the belief that more is merrier! This month, Kensington welcomed, Scuba Jay’s Bar to its community of eateries and local spots, and we couldn’t be more excited to check it out!
Formally occupied by Midtown Kitchen, the folks at Scuba Jay’s are offering good times, cold drinks, snacks and music. Now we’re not going to lie, we’re still pretty bummed that the previous owners weren’t able to pull through COVID, but we’re glad someone will be breathing some life back into space.

Jay’s seems to be taking full advantage of the large inner-city patio, encouraging people to ‘come on down’ and grab a beer, a gin and tonic or a glass of wine while they’re in the popular area this summer.
Unfortunately, there isn’t a menu currently online, but they do post sneak peeks on their social media account, which you can view here! Check em’ while they’re hot, Calgary!
