As a new year approaches, you may be thinking about moving. If that’s the case, there’s a newly released ranking of the cheapest places to live in Ontario with the best quality of life, and it may help!
The report is by MovingWaldo and it based its ranking on the house and renting prices in various cities and towns around Ontario, using Statistics Canada, Zumper, and CREA data.
The regions on this list were also chosen for their quality of life, which includes factors like health, pollution, green space and recreation, climate, education, and employment opportunities.
At the time of the report’s release, MovingWaldo states that “the average home price in Ontario is $835,090 and a 2-bedroom rental averages $2,638.”
The cheapest places to live in Ontario are located all over the province, from north to east to west, and range from cities to tiny towns.
