This chairlift ride has breathtaking views of the Toronto Islands & skyline

This is how you do sunset views in the city. The Toronto Islands amusement park we know and love has a chairlift ride that lets you enjoy our skyline in a whole new way — it’s called the Centreville Sky Ride!

“Sit back and relax as you glide across the sky on this state-of-the-art chair lift,” says a description on Centreville’s website.

“Enjoy picturesque views of the island and the city skyline.”

The leisurely ride is about 15 minutes long, and if you time it right, you could climb aboard as the sun sets over the city.

Sure, this amusement park may be for younger children, but that’s no reason to skip out on this amazing scenic attraction.

Soak up the warm summer air and the lush grounds of the Toronto Islands, the glistening lake, and the majestic city in the distance.

Riders must be at least 3 feet tall and no infants are permitted. Riders shorter than 4 and a half feet must be accompanied by someone who is taller.
