Good food, good drinks, and good trouble? While they had us within the first syllable, Calgary’s newest spot, CENTRAL, is gearing up for a grand opening that’ll (hopefully) have night-life enthusiasts going back for years to come – and we’ve finally got a kick-off date!

Serving ‘crushable’ drinks and menu items curated by Chef Pigot of Food Network fame, CENTRAL Taps & Food is a new concept created by CRAFT Beer Market – a Canadian fave for after-work sips and Sunday patio beers.

This new eatery, which is located in Beltline’s District, will have a south-facing 75-seat patio and look modern, comfortable, and chic – despite it not being anywhere near as large as their sister locations.

“We were born and raised right here in Calgary and we decided to develop a new smaller format concept that brings people together”, states Founder PJ L’heureux in a press release.

“The name CENTRAL represents meeting in the middle, a common ground for the crew, with an everyday approachable food and drink menu, and we just happen to be across from Central Memorial park.”

From Pigot’s signature wings, amazing burgers, and everything from pork belly ramen to Mexican street chicken, customers will have no problem finding a bite to eat – no matter the time of day; and as for their drink menu – they’ve come up with a local lineup of crafter beers and signature cocktails that sound of out of this world.

If you’d like to check it out – their doors open on Monday, May 9th at the address below.

We can’t wait to check it out ourselves, so maybe we’ll see you out there! It’s going to be a tasty evening!
