Looking for a lodging experience in the wilderness with a hot tub to enjoy on a summer night? We’ve got a unique stay for you – a luxury lodge in Shirley, BC. As far as Airbnb stays go, this one’s pretty top-tier.

The lodge

Cedar Coast Lodge is a serene retreat located moments away from French Beach – the perfect starting point for your island adventures. With over 2.5 acres of land and 2,500 square feet indoors, the cedar home feels like your own domain, complete with a hot tub, indoor fireplace and several wraparound decks to enjoy.

Guests can also pay a visit to the library loft to unwind and soak up a moment of quiet before the party starts outside. For entertaining guests, there’s a fully-equipped kitchen, BBQ, fire pit, and more!

In terms of rooms, there are 3 bedrooms (one king bed, a queen bed, and a double + a single bed). Plus, there is a pull-out sofa bed in the living room that can accommodate another person or two.

Some things to note if you decide to book a stay:

  • No hot tub or fire pit usage after 11 pm out of respect for neighbours
  • Don’t leave food or high odour items outside or in your vehicle at any time, as this is bear country
  • Be prepared for minimal cell phone coverage (there is wifi in the lodge itself)
