A celebration of Asian culture with hoops, entertainment, and celebrity appearances? Count us in! The 2024 CCYAA Celeb Classic is around the corner, and guests can expect to see Canadian actor Simu Liu back on the court along with other familiar faces and fun festivities.

The 2024 CCYAA Celeb Classic is happening July 13th with FreshFest from 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM and the tournament at 6:30 PM (doors open at 5:30 PM).
“This is a chance to discover Asian celebrities, culture and community during a one-day event that includes the Celeb Classic basketball tournament and FreshFest presented by The Alley: An Asian Culture Con,” says event organizers.
Actor Simu Liu, NBA legend and former Toronto Raptor Jeremy Lin, and a roster of content creators, YouTubers, and celebrities will hit the court for the CCYAA Celeb Classic tournament with tickets starting at $55.
The Asian culture festival during the day is separate from the tournament and will feature pop-ups from beloved local businesses, including Chef Nuit Regular’s PAI and Masterchef Canada winner Christopher Siu’s Daango Cake
FreshFest is the perfect way to taste, sip and shop all this Asian culture and hey, maybe you’ll even spot a celeb enjoying the festival, too!
The basketball tournament and FreshFest will both be held at Mattamy Athletic Center and will be ticketed so be sure to grab yours ahead of time here.
Celeb Classic event ticket holders are able to access FreshFest for free by entering between 10:00 AM-7:00 PM.
