Western Canada’s longest summer tube slide is about to open in Alberta

The grass is green, the trees are full, the sun is out, and we’re seeking a thrill. Luckily, those in Wild Rose Country won’t have to travel far to get their heart racing!

Located in Red Deer Alberta, Canyon Ski Resort is the ultimate summer destination for those looking for a looking action.

In addition to Alberta’s first and only alpine coaster, which has already kicked off its 2024 season the popular weekend retreat will also open their brightly coloured Neveplast track.

With two lanes, a 35-degree incline and 453 feet of fun, Canyon’s Summer Tube Slide is the longest in all of Western Canada, and starting Saturday, June 22nd, the public can take a zip- without spending an arm and a leg!

For just $5 you can ride once or for $14 you can ride it three times back to back.

If however, you want to spend your entire day with the wind in your hair –  $22 will get you five rides, $30 will get you seven, and $35 will get you nine runs. It really is what you make it!

“Experience the thrill of sliding down a hill without snow! Summer tubing is an activity that everyone in the family can enjoy, from kids to grandparents,” they write on their website.

“Come and have some fun in the sun together! And getting to the top of the hill is easy since we have uphill conveyors or a “Magic Carpet” that does the work for you!”
