This charming Alberta town is hosting a HUGE hot air balloon festival & it sounds magical

When the temperature starts to drop, let your imagination take flight!

This fall, like so many before, those in search of magic will be encouraged to visit High River, Alberta for one of 2024s most enchanting affairs.

Set to take the sky this September, the Heritage Inn Balloon Festival is a beloved competition that will feature workshops, beautiful displays, and pilots from far and wide.

From direction and speed to control and grace, attendees will be encouraged to watch as participants fly their balloons with ease – but that’s hardly all!

Before and after each flight, guests can also mingle with participants and will even be able to take a ride, though, if you’d like to sign up, you’ll have to wait until closer to the event.

The most exciting part of the weekend, however, will actually kick off after dark.

With a DJ, dancers, food trucks, flare, and fire, don’t miss Balloon Glow, an after-dark experience in which balloons are inflated and lit up for the crowds to enjoy.

If you’re interested, the Heritage Inn Balloon Festival is totally FREE to enjoy – so check it out!

Heck, maybe we’ll see you out there. It really is something else!
