This canyon in Quebec has three suspension bridges with stunning scenic vistas

Stunning is an understatement when it comes to the views at Canyon Sainte-Anne. With rushing waters and thrilling suspension bridges that stretch across cascades, this nature escape in Quebec is definitely one to add to your bucket list.

East of Quebec City is Canyon Sainte-Anne, a beautiful piece of nature that is home to some of the best scenic views around. Here you can explore trails and traverse across three suspension bridges, one of which is 60 metres above its gorge.

Take in the rushing waters of the Sainte-Anne-du-Nord River that cascades down 74 metres, while exploring the Mestachibo Bridge, the McNicoll Bridge, and the Laurent Bridge.

The first two bridges mentioned are accessible to all while Laurent Bridge is located at the bottom of the Canyon and can only be reached by going down 187 steps.

As you travel along the trails, you’ll also find observation points that will give you a view of the Canyon Sainte-Anne from all points.

The trails total 3 km and are suitable for people with reduced mobility. You can also bring your pup on this adventure as long as they’re on a leash.

Fees

Canyon Sainte-Anne does charge admission and it starts at $9 for children and $14 for adults, all subject to tax.

If you plan on exploring this wonderful outdoor vista, you have until October 22nd. The park closes at 5 PM while the last admission is at 4 PM.
