Heads up, NHL fans! There are two playoff games between the Canucks and Oilers to look forward to this week: An away game on Tuesday, May 14th and a home game on Thursday, March 16th. So keep your jerseys handy, and get ready to take advantage of these watch parties! 

Although they didn’t come out on top on Friday, May 10th, the Canucks are back with a fresh win under their belt following Sunday’s “gutsy” game against the Oilers, which means we’re leading with 2-1 this round!

Where to watch

For starters, both home and away games will be shown at Oak Meadows Park (899 West 37th Avenue) on the following dates:

  • Game 4 – Tuesday, May 14, 6:30 pm 
  • Game 5 – Thursday, May 16, 12 am
  • Game 6 – Saturday, May 18 time TBD
  • Game 7 – Monday, May 20, 12 am

The following community centres across the city will also be screening the games for free:

  • Hillcrest Community Centre
  • Roundhouse Community Centre
  • Killarney Community Centre
  • Kitsilano Community Centre
  • False Creek Community Centre
  • Creekside Community Centre
  • Kerrisdale Community Centre

There are also viewing events anticipated for Delta’s Social Heart Plaza, Port Coquitlam Community Centre, and The Shipyards in North Van, all of whom have hosted watch parties during Round 2 of the playoffs.

What’s more, the iconic Toyota Party on the Plaza is back at Rogers Arena for every home game this series, so mark your calendars for the next one on Thursday, May 16th, and stay tuned for more details!

If you want to catch all the action at Rogers Arena for Game 5, tickets currently range from $377.52 to $630 for Verified Resale Tickets, and $596 to $750 for Standard Tickets.
