Jen’s journey on “The Bachelorette” is over and it was quite the ride! If you’re a fan of the show we’re sure there’s been a time or two you’ve pictured yourself behind the screen, so why not make that a reality? “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette” casts Canadians and we’re here to tell you how to get in the running.

Applying

Firstly, you need to pick which of the franchise’s four show options best suits you.

Applicants can apply to either “The Bachelor”, “The Bachelorette” or one of the two options for older hopefuls, “The Golden Bachelor” or “The Golden Bachelorette”.

You can either apply yourself or nominate a Canadian you know that would be perfect for the opportunity.

Head to the franchise’s application page here and select the show you’re interested in.

From there you will be asked to fill out an application which details more about yourself, your job, your social media presence and why you’re applying to be on the show.

Eligibility

There are a handful of things you need to make sure you have checked off before applying.

In order to be eligible to be selected and participate in “The Bachelorette” or “The Bachelor, applicants must meet eligibility requirements such as being at least 21 years of age at the time of the application, a legal resident of the United States or Canada (excluding Quebec), all applicants must be single – just to name a few.
