Thinking about going to school? Hoping that your alma mater is still as respectable as it once was? While there’s no denying that Canadian universities have incredible value, it’s also nice to know that a few of them are among the best in the world. At least, according to one round up.

Basically, these metrics provide a framework for the rankings (even if they’re missing some quality of life things). It should also be noted that there are different weightings for each metric. Moving on though, 3 Canadian universities landed among the best 100 in the entire world. Perhaps unsurprisingly, these are:
Across all the metrics, U of T and McGill we’re pretty much even stevens, swapping higher rankings but with no more than a 10% gap for each one. Meanwhile, UBC mostly kept the pace, but was significantly lower when it came to international students and the student to faculty ratio.
But, that’s just out of the top 100. And honestly, we think practically all post-secondary education in Canada is a solid option, especially for the price (most of the time). If you’d like to see exact scores and where other names landed, you can check out the list in full right here.
