Here are the new rides coming to Canada’s Wonderland this spring

Thrill seekers, are you ready for a new challenge? Canada’s Wonderland will open for the season on May 5th, 2023, with two exciting new rides!

One of them is a massive, 360-degree spinning coaster and it’s the only one of its kind in the world.

This ride isn’t for the faint of heart. Canada’s Wonderland is gearing up to introduce its newest, most heart-racing ride yet — the Tundra Twister.

You’ll reach sky-high levels on this giant looping ride that twists and twirls 360 degrees.

At heights of 47 metres and speeds of 75 km/hour, this new ride is the only attraction of its kind in the world, according to Canada’s Wonderland.

With the season-opening date fast approaching, our hearts are already racing at the thought of it!

Below is a rendering of what the ride will look like when it opens.

Wonderland has also released a teaser image of the rollercoaster being built.

It will be located just outside the entrance to Splash Works beside Yukon Striker, the amusement park says.

The Tundra Twiser will accommodate 40 riders at once, and “will be an experience guests won’t find anywhere else.”

That’s not the only ride coming to the beloved amusement park. Here’s one for the kiddos!

Snoopy’s Racing Railway will take ride-goers through an adventure in Planet Snoopy. It’s the newest family launch coaster coming to the park next year.

It accelerates from zero to 50 km/h in seconds and takes you through dips and turns as the train avoids traps set by Woodstock and his Bad Seed Gang.

“We’re committed to providing exciting experiences for guests of all ages, and these two attractions are unique additions for thrill seekers and families alike,” said Norm Pirtovshek, general manager at Canada’s Wonderland.

“The Tundra Twister will be a sight to behold, swinging and spinning guests high above the midway and nearby Yukon Striker, while Snoopy’s Racing Railway is sure to become a family favourite among our collection of children’s rides.”
