No matter how you slice it, you can’t beat cake. So, maybe this is the weekend where you try out Canada’s first-ever cake jar vending machine. The new concept has come to Metro Vancouver, from a super popular bakery based in Surrey. Let’s check it out!
On October 8th, The Jar Bar debuted at Willowbrook Shopping Centre in Langley. So far, they will be offering the unique product through the end of this weekend. But, we have a feeling it might do a little tour once it’s done there.

However, you might be wondering what a cake jar is. Well, it’s simple. Creator and owner Raveena started laying cake leftovers and buttercream into jars. Once she started selling the cake jars at her bakery, Just Cakes Bakeshop, they were a hit. And the rest is sweet, tasty history.
The Jar Bar offers delicious flavours like Oreo, double chocolate, or red velvet. Don’t worry, we’re salivating too.
If you want to try these sweet creations, you have until Sunday to check them out. And hey, it’s not every day you get to enjoy a cake jar vending machine.
