As we near the end of July, only one thing is on our minds and that’s fall 2021. Sure summer is great, but pumpkin spice lattes and Halloween parties are better! Before we know it, spooky month will be here and that means we’ve got to start planning ahead! The first thing on our to-hit list? Pumpkins After Dark – a one-of-a-kind event featuring more gourds that you could bake, carve or bash in an entire lifetime.

A Calgary first, PAD is an award-winning festival (of sorts) that sees over 6,000+ pumpkins and sculptures light up the night ahead of October 31st.

The event originated in Ontario and that version has become Canada’s largest outdoor Halloween event, and now Calgary is its first new stop!

Much like zoo lights or one of our many local corn mazes, each walkthrough will take anywhere between 45 to 60 minutes depending, of course, on how long it takes you to snap the perfect picture – which we can guarantee will be a priority during your visit.

Interested? Timed tickets are available now and for a limited time only (with code Earlybird) will only cost you $20.41 per person – so get on it, folks!

Pumpkins After Dark will kick off on September 23rd and run every Thursday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday until Halloween night, so there are only so many spots available!

You won’t want to miss it. It’s going to be lit.
