We’re just plain crazy about airshows! This weekend, the super-popular Abbotsford International Airshow will be delighting kids and adults alike with some of the world’s most iconic planes. If you’re looking for something unique to do this weekend, then this should be right up your alley.

This year, the Abbotsford Airshow has adopted a ‘drive-in’ format. Priced by the car, visitors will have a 20×20 space to set up lawn chairs and blankets to view the show. People are also encouraged to bring snacks and (non-alcoholic) drinks for the experience, and there will be restrooms on the premises.

Throughout the weekend, you’ll be able to see some of the most advanced planes on planet earth right beside incredible acrobatic displays. We’re talking everything from a squadron of F-22 Raptors (which cost around $334M a pop) to ‘ghostwriters’ and even the Canadian Forces Snowbirds.

From today (Friday) until Sunday, there will be 4 different opportunities to see this incredible mix of skill and technology in action. Not every presenter will be at every show, so we suggest checking out the Flying Schedule for yourself before picking a time.

Once you do that, round up some friends and go enjoy this incredible option!
