A new year, a new list! Canada’s Top 100 Employers has released its annual list for 2024. This year’s list includes the top employers that are reimagining their work, and who are always looking forward all while staying flexible, adaptable, and focused on this ‘new normal’ in the workplace.

The popular list was unveiled on November 17th, 2023 by Mediacorp Canada Inc.

According to the announcement, post-pandemic, there’s been a heightened attention towards health and safety issues in the workplace, especially around mental health.

This year’s winners have ensured they adopt new health and safety initiatives to better complement the needs of flexible work schedules.

“Winning employers inherently understand that there is no one-size-fits-all solution,” said Richard Yerema, executive editor of the Canada’s Top 100 Employers project.

“The best employers have always been adaptable and proactive when listening to what employees need, want and value in doing their jobs.”

As always, employers are evaluated by the editors of Canada’s Top 100 Employers through eight factors: Workplace; Work Atmosphere & Social; Health, Financial & Family Benefits; Vacation & Time Off; Employee Communications; Performance Management; Training & Skills Development; and Community Involvement.

Per the criteria, “employers are compared to other organizations in their field to determine which offers the most progressive and forward-thinking programs.”

As many employers shift to a new way of the workplace, this is the perfect time for job seekers to freshen up their resumes and continue on the search. According to the list, there are thousands of positions available within the top 100 employers in Canada.

There are over 3,000 in Ontario, over 600 in Alberta, and over 2,000 in British Columbia – full-time, part-time and entry-level are all available!
