Canada was just ranked among the most beautiful countries in the world

From the sandy shores in the east to the mountains in the west, Canada is the gift that keeps on giving, and Condé Nast Traveler seems to agree. The luxury travel and lifestyle magazine recently released its list of the 40 most beautiful countries in the world and of course, Canada made the cut.

“Our picks for the most beautiful countries in the world make up a bliss montage through the best sights to see in every continent (with countries, that is) across the globe,” shares the magazine.

When it comes to the true north, here’s what makes it extra special.

The beautiful north

According to Condé Nast Traveler, “The second-biggest country on the planet has almost too many spectacular sites to pick favourites,” but they did end up narrowing it down.

The magazine raves about Torngat Mountains National Park, a gorgeous national park found in Newfoundland and Labrador. “A land of polar bears and caribou, glaciers and fjords, and a stretch of mountains you’re not likely to ever forget,” Condé Nast Traveler raves.

It’s also mentioned that while Torngat is truly stunning, Canada’s 48 other national parks are worth the visit, from “Alberta’s serene Banff to Yukon’s extreme Kluane.”

While the list is in no particular order, some of the other most beautiful countries include Mexico with “An eye-watering 67 national parks and over 5,000 miles of coastline,” India for “The heights of Himalayan peaks and beaches kissed by the Indian Ocean,” Spain with “Its world-class beaches (such as the pictured Playa de Las Catedrales in Galicia),” and Thailand for its “hundreds of islands.”

She’s beauty, she’s grace, she’s…Canada!
