Introducing Canada’s newest phone carrier, Fizz! During the launch, customers will be able to sign up for plans starting as low as $14 per month.

Interested parties can order a Fizz SIM card online or pick one up at participating Circle K locations in British Columbia and Alberta.

Chatr

Need a phone plan but without all the extras? Chatr offers stellar plans with inexpensive prices. New activations can get their hands on a $29 deal that includes an additional 10 gbs of data for two years and that’s on top of the 30GB of data and unlimited Canada-wide talk+text.

Lucky Mobile

No credit checks or long term commitment – get your plans without any hassle. Their lowest plan includes unlimited Canada-wide text, 100 minutes Canada-wide calling, and 250MB of data.

No Name Mobile

No Name has jumped into the mobile carrier game with its own prepaid plans. And to be honest, they’re not that bad.

Cost: Starting at $19

Koodo

Comparable to sister company Telus, you’re sure to get the best coverage with Koodo. Their starter plans begin at $15 for 250MB of shock at 3G speeds, unlimited text in Canada.

Fido

Whether you’re bringing your own phone in or doing a bundle, there are a few plan options at Fido worth exploring. Their best and lowest phone plan with data at the moment for BYOP is $34, 20 GB of data and unlimited talk and text.

Virgin Mobile

Get more out of your plan with Virgin Mobile! Though their lowest plan offers 250MB data, talk & text, you can still get a good phone plan for $34, 20GB data, talk & text for new activations.

As for the big three – Telus, Rogers and Bell, their new activation plans start at $65, $60 and $65, respectively.
